Systems integrator, Quantum Controls, joins WEG distribution network

Motor, drive and gearbox manufacturer WEG, has welcomed Quantum Controls to its distribution network. Quantum Controls will now supply WEG’s products to its customer base throughout the UK. The Northumberland-based business is not just a distributor of motors and drives, but also a systems integrator offering 24-7 service. This offering adds a wealth of experience, knowledge and expertise to WEG’s distribution network.

With 20 years of supplying motors and drives from a range of manufacturers, Quantum Control’s move to the WEG distribution network is a carefully considered business decision. It coincides with Quantum Control’s plans to open new distribution centres in Scotland and the south of England, as it expands its customer-base.

“This new alliance extends far beyond offering WEG motors and drives,” explained Kevin Brown, director of Quantum Controls. “As systems integrators for any production line that requires motion, we help our clients reduce downtime and be as energy efficient as possible. This closely aligns with WEG’s ethos, which played a big part in our decision to move forward with WEG.

“With the combination of high-quality products from WEG, and our knowledge to install, run and maintain motors and drives, our customers are set up for success. If they face any problems during the lifespan of their motors and drives, our team of engineers will be there to help them.”

“Quantum Controls is a very forward-thinking company,” explained Russell Maccabe UK sales manager at WEG UK. “The team is well known in the sector for its round the clock maintenance and repair services. We’re not just getting a partner that knows how to sell motors, but a company that knows how to use the technology available for the most effective outcomes.

“The systems integrator has a bold vision for the years ahead, with new branches opening at both ends of the UK, offering an even better service to existing and new customers.”

WEG offers a range of motors and drives for general purpose, hazardous area and marine applications. For more information on this new partnership, or to enquire about WEG motors and drives, visit our WEG Motors page or WEG Variable Spreed Drives page or you can email [email protected]
