How do I know what energy I will save if I use a Variable Speed Drive on my Application?

It is impossible to accurately calculate energy savings using manufacturers’ software tools because of the many variables that must be considered in each Application.

The only solution is to use energy monitors to log the usage on your Application.  Quantum engineers will attend your site and install a non-intrusive energy logger for two weeks. This then gives us exact data on that Application, allowing us to calculate what it costs to run during that period. We then install a temporary hire Drive on the Application for a further two weeks and commission the drive to your process requirements. The energy loggers are then placed on again to monitor the energy usage on the same Application when utilising a Variable Speed Drive as the motor controller.

After the two weeks, we then download that data and create a comprehensive report showing the accurate and factual picture of the cost to run that Application without and then with a Variable Speed Drive.
