Sun Shines on a Fantastic 2025 Golf Day at Slaley Hall

Our much-anticipated annual Golf Day returned on 10th June 2025, and this year’s event was one to remember. Held at the picturesque Hunting Course at Slaley Hall, the day brought together our valued customers and staff for a brilliant mix of friendly competition, camaraderie, and some excellent golfing.

After a damp start to the morning, the rain gave way to sunshine—just in time for tee-off. Spirits were high as players enjoyed the immaculate fairways and stunning Northumberland scenery, making for an unforgettable day on the course.

Highlights from the day included:

• Longest Drive – Congratulations to Josh for powering through the competition and winning the Longest Drive.

• Nearest the Pin – Chris showcased precision to take home this trophy.

Both Josh and Chris each received a Lexus for the weekend as their prize—well earned!

The Team Event was fiercely contested, but it was Team 3, captained by Gareth Bowen and featuring Neil, Josh, and Andrew, who emerged victorious.

In the individual competition, Andrew claimed 3rd place, with Paul Barrett, our very own Scottish Service Consultant coming in second, and SIE’s Gareth Bowen taking the  1st place honours, a fantastic achievement.

But the most prestigious accolade of the day, the Quantum Staff  Trophy, was claimed by Paul Barrett. Paul commented:

“I’m so pleased to have won the staff trophy and to be taking it back with me to Scotland. This is the first time I’ve been able to attend our Golf Day, but I’ve heard plenty about it being the greatest day in the Quantum calendar. It’s been a fantastic day and the course is absolutely amazing.”

We’d like to extend a thank you to everyone who took part, making the day so memorable. It’s always a pleasure to spend time with our customers outside the office, and we’re already looking forward to making next year’s event—our 2026 Golf Day—just as special.
