CHALLENGE: A Paper Mill had a 500kw, 690 Volt inverter failure causing £16k per hour downtime costs.
SOLUTION: Quantum engineer were contacted at 2am and requested to attend site. Our engineers despatched a matched drive from our rental fleet immediately and met the drive on site at 5am. The drive was then installed and commissioned by our engineers and the Mill was back up and running by 9am. Taking the pressure of our client so we could then repair the damaged Siemens Drive while the plant was up and running.
